We have lots going on at Oakgrove over the summer months, here’s what we have to look forward to:
When? Monday 3rd July @ 8pm Cost? Free!
Strength & Conditioning Fundamentals course…for the first time we will be running this as a twice-per-week training program to bring beginners up to speed on the basics of training well. Learn bodyweight movements, barbell training, kettlebells, conditioning workouts, flexibility and mobility with fellow beginners.
When? Tues & Thurs @ 6pm for 3 weeks in July. Starts Tuesday 4th July 6pm. Cost? €40 – Members, €50 – non-members.
Children’s Swim Intensive course…we run this popular kids intensive course in the first week of July every year, at the Lavanagh Centre in Ballintemple. To give your kids repeated exposure to water to practice skills can be a great boost before your summer hols!
When? Monday July 3rd – Friday July 7th inclusive, 10am or 10:40am. Still a few spaces left. Cost? €70
Pay-As-You-Go Fitness Classes ….Spinning, Strength & Circuits will all continue throughout the summer. If you are busy and getting outdoors, then remember that we train outdoors in the sunshine whenever possible for Circuits and Strength & Conditioning and
When? See timetable Cost? we offer €8 pop-in fees for both. Regular members just pay €5, Circuits are free!
Day out to Ballyhass AquaPark…members are welcome along to a fun splash around at Ballyhass in their funky aqua park. All welcome, but you need to be a competent swimmer! Should be great fun, don’t hesitate to sign up!

OAKGROVE 15TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!
Planning is underway for a big event to celebrate our 15th Birthday. Details under wraps as yet but it should be a great day out at Oakgrove. Set aside time on Saturday 25th August (official birthday is September 4th but Monday is no day to party) to pop down and take part, invite a friend along and have a bit of fun. Cost? Free of course 🙂
